Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 15 October 2026
1. About this agreement
These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you or the organisation you represent and Credfico Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (“Credfico”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of Credfico Books and related websites, applications, accounting, billing, reporting, customer/member portal, payment, notification and business-management features (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the Platform.
2. Platform services
The Platform provides software tools whose features depend on your business category, selected plan, configuration and enabled integrations. Features may include maintaining business records, generating invoices and receipts, recording payments and expenses, preparing reports, managing customers or society members, sending notifications and connecting third-party services. We may improve, replace or discontinue features, with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Account and authorised users
- You must provide accurate registration, business, contact, tax and billing information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You confirm that you are authorised to register for and bind the organisation identified in your account.
- You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, OTPs, devices and access granted to your users. Actions taken through authorised accounts may be treated as actions of your organisation.
- Notify Credfico promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or a security incident.
- You must not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with other tenants, upload malicious content or use the Platform unlawfully.
4. Your data and accounting responsibility
You retain responsibility for the accuracy, legality and completeness of information entered into the Platform, including customer records, invoices, payments, tax data and reports. Review transactions and outputs before relying on them or submitting them to a bank, tax authority, auditor, customer or other party. Software calculations and reports support your work but do not replace independent professional, tax, legal or financial advice where required.
You must have the rights and lawful permissions needed to enter personal, financial or third-party information. Keep your own appropriate records and exports. Platform availability and backup features do not remove your responsibility to retain records required by law.
5. Plans, fees and payments
- Plan inclusions, bill limits, subscription periods, usage charges, included communications and applicable fees are those displayed in the Platform or agreed in writing.
- Taxes are charged where applicable. You are responsible for providing correct tax details and paying amounts due on time.
- Payments may be processed by a payment gateway, bank or other payment provider, whose separate terms may apply. A payment can remain pending until the provider confirms it.
- We may restrict or suspend paid features for overdue or reversed payments after appropriate notice, except where prohibited by law.
- Cancellation stops future service or renewal as applicable; it does not automatically cancel amounts already due or charges for usage already delivered.
6. Refund requests
Refund requests must normally be submitted within 7 calendar days from the relevant payment date. Eligibility, exclusions and the procedure are described in our separate Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Integrations and communications
You may choose to connect services such as payment gateways, accounting platforms, email, SMS or WhatsApp providers. You authorise the exchanges needed to deliver the integration you enable. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices, and Credfico is not responsible for outages or changes under their control.
We may send essential service communications about verification, security, billing, invoices, support and account changes to the contact details you provide. Promotional communications, where sent, will respect applicable law and available opt-out choices.
8. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The Platform, its software, design, branding and documentation are owned by Credfico or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform during your access period for your internal business purposes. You must not copy or resell the Platform, reverse engineer it except where law permits, bypass security or use another tenant’s information.
9. Availability, suspension and termination
We aim to keep the Platform available and secure but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, network issues, third-party failures or events outside our reasonable control can affect availability. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law or address material breaches. You may stop using the Platform and request account closure through support, subject to outstanding obligations and lawful record-retention requirements.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Credfico is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss caused by inaccurate data supplied by you, unauthorised disclosure arising from compromised credentials under your control, or interruptions caused by third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Where the law permits a limitation, Credfico’s total liability for a claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the fees paid by you to Credfico for the affected Platform service during the three months immediately before the event giving rise to that claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may publish revised Terms with a new version and effective date. Where a change requires renewed consent, we will ask you to accept the applicable version before continuing with the affected activity. The version accepted by you is recorded in the consent audit log.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory law, courts with jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
